Welcome to the Civil Air Patrol, Trail of Tears Composite Squadron MO-127, North Central Region; Missouri Wing and recipient of Missouri's Squadron of Merit for 2005 & 2006 and Squadron of the Year 2006. Our Squadron meets at the Fruitland Community Church; 6040 HWY 61 located in Fruitland, Missouri on Thursday evenings at 7:00PM. |
The members of Civil Air Patrol are volunteers consisting of Cadets ages 12 to 21 and Senior Members. Squadrons can be Cadet, Senior Members, or Composite; the Trail of Tears Squadron is composite which means that it is made up of Cadets and Senior Members. The Civil Air Patrol has three main missions; Aerospace Education which helps prepare American citizens to meet the challenges of a sophisticated aerospace society and understanding its related issues. Cadet Programs build strong citizens for the future by providing leadership training, moral leadership, technical education and scholarships. Emergency Services which allow both Cadets and Senior Members to learn search and rescue techniques used during missions.
